2022-23 A Year In Review

We are endlessly thankful to our fantastic BULAC familia for all their efforts in fostering our growing Brown Latinx community! In 2022-2023 over 120 alumni volunteered to promote BULAC’s goals. Here’s a snapshot of some of the things they did: 

• Hosted virtual and physical events, including events to welcome the class of 2027, prospective student events, panels, social alumni events, and an event in honor of Mercedes Domenech 
• Connected 105 alumni with nearly 400 admitted students from the class of 2027 using a new platform envisioned by Sebastián Varón, BULAC’s Pre-Brown Experience Committee Chair, as part of BULAC’s developing Matriculation Campaign
• Committed to developing professional development resources for Latinx students on campus and for young alumni through upcoming events and professional seminars and panels — in partnership with the Office of Alumni Relations and the HUGS Alumni Community.
